The week continues on as usual with 2 egg scrambled, chicken soup, but tonight I had Chicken & Broccoli
Day 23
Book & E-Book Launch
check out my Sneak Peak & Customer Reviews!
My wonderful neighbor Jen decided to give me a night off and brought dinner over for the family. Chicken & Broccoli with a wonderful crispy topping drizzled in cheese. It was absolutely delicious. So delicious, the family ate the lot !
Thank you again my dear neighbor for looking after me. It's not easy when you have no family nearby and neighbors like Jen are priceless.
Messed up in the supermarket today. Only meant to get a few things and ended up buying loads of stuff for the freezer etc (like you do). Anyway, I filled the carrier bars to the brim and chose to carry them and......managed to pull something in my stomach....ouch
So, won't do that again.
The week is progressing and each day is better, apart from the bumps when I drive. The painkillers are doing a fab job. Can you get addicted to painkillers? Cuz I'm gonna miss them when I run out

From there I was sent for a CTScan
From there I was rushed into Emergency where a surgeon was waiting for me to do an emergency op
.....on my appendix!!
Hmmmm....cant really say it was acute pain. It felt more like spams every 30 minutes or so and it felt like it was getting better but I thought a doctors opinion would settle it......and so it did
OMG It happened so fast!
So now I am Mrs DIVA
and why not!
Under the circumstances, I don't think I will do measuring which is scheduled for this coming Wednesday. I will leave it another week for my tummy to go down.
So, from there to Karen's Carb Crazy Kitchen.....
For most of the past 3 or 4 days, apart from 'nil-by-mouth' on the day of the op, I have eaten pretty much the same each day which has been Chicken Broth/Noodle soup Scrambled eggs or Greek Yoghurt with sugar free jelly, (which my friend on FB suggested and is rather nice)
After-op spasms have been pretty bad but the pain killers are fab
I told my son I was going to buy him a new laptop. He was so startled he just stood there and stared at me with an incredible look on his face until his father told him that it was the meds talking
I also remember speaking to someone at the bank but for the life of me, I cannot remember what it was about so my husband has banned me from doing any business over the phone
So, a day in the life of .....
