DAILY LOG  Thur 1th Dec 2011

B'fast: 1 high protein bar

Lunch: Slices of pork loin, salad and cream cheese on 1 low-carb wrap

Snack: 4 pretzel squares & 1 low-carb bar

Dinner: Slices of pork loin, salad and 2 tablespoons of marinara sauce

Total carbs for today around 38

My cold has gone, but my throat is now hurting and turning into a bad cough.....nice place to be just coming up to Christmas!  

Even though the carbs for today are relatively good, I don't feel satisfied. I don't know why. I have eaten quite a lot today. 

If we go away for Christmas I know I will put weight on so just another 1 or 2lb pounds and that will do until we get back.....Don't know who I'm talking to. Maybe myself? I think I'm going crazy... 

Still typing up my recipes for my new cook book!

B'fast: Small ham and swiss cheese soufflé & Coffee

Lunch: Packet of low-carb crisps/potato chips

Dinner: Bacon wrapped pork loin, mixed salad,1 low-carb wrap, 1 tbspn mayo

Not steaming through this week as well as I would like. Met my friend for breakfast at the local bakery and they had just taken soufflés out of the oven. The smell was unbelievable! That soufflé alone was around 30 carbs! 

Well....it was only 1 

I must be careful now. The last couple of days I have gone a little high and I know if I have over 50 carbs per day I will put weight on. One saving grace....I'm not in the mood for chocolate tonight 
Having said that, I do know that it is still there...

Maybe I will come down in the middle of the night and steal it

Lunch: 2oz cheese and crackers and then some more cheese

Snack: Packet of low-carb crisps/potato chips and 1 low-carb bar

Dinner: Leftover roasted port, 1/2 tomato, mini sweet peppers, 2 low-carb wraps and 1 tablespoon of mayo

Very messy today. I was busy working and didn't get time to eat breakfast or snack and I was starving by lunch. Managed to keep it at bay until about 3 o'clock then had two snacks in one...must try to be more organised 

Didn't manage to get to the gym today. Will go tomorrow, I promise.

Have been very good today. After the last couple of days of high carbs I need to stay focussed. Christmas is almost here and I would like to lose a couple more pounds. What do you think ? Maybe a little retail therapy would do the trick

B'fast: Low-carb bar. 

Lunch: Bacon on 2 low-carb wraps and 1 tbspn of mayo. 

Snack: Low-carb bar. 

Dinner: Small bowl of white cheddar & broccoli soup followed by a large bowl of chicken chilli, 2 slices of baguette with butter and 2 diet cokes.  

Total carbs for today about  90 !!!?

Oh dear....all was going well until we met friends for dinner a restaurant in cincinnati. 

I thought everything was under control until the chicken chilli came and found that it had white beans in it and just a small amount of chicken. 

They should have called it white bean chili with chicken! Couldn't pick them out so I had to eat them. I think the chicken chilli alone was about 55 carbs. I must be more attentive when I read menus. I now feel bloated and sluggish!

Another mixed week. All was going well until yesterday and today. Not reading the menus properly in restaurants is my downfall and I ended up having a meal that cost me 55 carbs. I now feel bloated and sluggish! 
For my weigh-in this week I have stayed the same 
I can't really say that I am disappointed or surprised because of what I have eaten over the last couple of days. 
Carbs for this week has worked out at 310, which is about 45 carbs per day. I went to the toning tables 3 times this week but again I didn't do any cardio.
I did another measuring session this morning I have lost 5 more inches since 9th Oct and. See inch and weight loss below. The inches continue to come off, albeit very slowly because of the lack of cardio.
I need to toughen up and step it up

Lunch: Cup of cheese & broccoli soup and chicken caesar salad without the croutons

Dinner: BW's for dinner. Salad with ranch dressing on the side and chopped chicken tenderloins with a small amount of sweet BBQ sauce.

*Yes, I know I only ate twice today, but it's a good job I did because I forgot to add 13 carbs for last night's extra meatballs! Now I have gone over 50 carbsJust sooo angry about that 
Having an interesting discussion on FB at the moment about one friend not being happy with her weight loss and eating a high carb meal because of the frustration. Why do we do that? I really don't know the answer to that but I do it too. 
Another friend eats no carb at all. I really couldn't do that. I need my carbs as long as I stay under 50, ideally between 40-45 per day.

DAILY LOG Fri 9th Dec 2011 "PLUS Video V"

B'fast: 1 low-carb bar

Lunch: Leftover pulled chicken and 1 low-carb wrap

Dinner: Turkey meatballs with 1 1/2 cups of broccoli, spinach and green beans

Todays carb total about 24

Much better and brighter today. Had a really bad day yesterday though. Could it have been a full moon? I do get a little grouchy at that time. 

Out Christmas shopping today and worked in between. Feeling quite confident about Sundays because I've been quite good this week. If my scales say I haven't lost any weight there's going to be trouble! 

I am now receiving Christmas cards from one or two people that I forgot Does anyone else do that? I am dreading Christmas Eve when I receive the last one!

I have uploaded Video V. Will do another one in the new year...

Now only 14 days to Christmas Eve - Get that Christmas shopping finished !
