The last 5 days have been a bit dodgy. Not saying that I was fantastically strict or fantastically bad or anything but the Halloween candy is still in the cupboard but overall I think I had about 57 carbs for each of the previous 4 days

It's my weigh-in tomorrow....Am I looking forward to it?  I will tell you tomorrow when I stand on the scales. 

Let's not forget Karen's Low-Carb Cook Book. It isn't full of daunting information or lots of complicated instructions.

On with my daily log.
B'fast: Coffee
Lunch: Leftover fish bake from the night before
Dinner: Homemade Low-Carb Scotch eggs with mixed salad. And delicious it was  
Total carbs for today about 40 
Well, it's been a busy week with work and cooking and photo taking. So busy I haven't had time to do my daily log. 

Not been too bad though. Around 47 carbs for Tue 23th and Wed 24th.

Was reversed into in the car park today and got shouted at as if it was my fault? Don't get that.... Well anyway, the police had to be called as she was attempting to drive away  "Oh Nooooo" I said. "Drive away and you get reported" or words to that effect. . 

Fortunately, her window was open and she heard me and stopped. Anyway, instead of just exchanging insurance information, I had to call the police because she didn't think there was much damage to my car and I wasn't there when she got in the car and I shouldn't have been there in the first place ? and attempted to drive away again. Obviously forgetting to mention that she hadn't checked her wing mirror cuz she would have seem me if she did. "oh Noooo" me says. "You have scratched my car and I am now calling the police!".

While this stage performance was in full swing and believe me, from her shouting, "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" springs to mind for the offending party, all of Starbucks drinkers who were sitting outside cuz it was 77 degrees today, were privy to our conversation and rather enjoying our little tete-a-tete before they went back to the office.

So, police arrives, we exchange information (which is what we should have done in the first place without having to involve the police), and went our separate ways.

So, I think our performance was enjoyable for the coffee break people. And I did get few smiles as my friend came out with an iced coffee for me to enjoy while policeman was trying to sort it out..... oooooo iced coffee. sooooo goooood 

Body work visits and Insurance telephone calls tomorrow. Oh what a joy to look forward to

Dinner: Lemon pepper chicken with asparagus and small portion of sweet potatoes followed by small portion of fresh fruit and Greek yoghurt

Well at least I didnt delve into the Halloween candy. That would have been disastrous. Stil cant get out of the habbit of having a nice chocolate fix for the evening.

I did go to the gym today though, so not feeling too bad about todays antics. Stay tuned for the next eposide of my sad life ...

Dinner: Chicken breast in creamy mushroom sauce with shitake mushrooms and green beans followed by plain greek yoghurt
Supper 1 small chocolate chip cookie and 2 cubes of high cocoa chocolate 

Total carbs for today about  45

Not too bad today although the craving for chocolate is sometimes uncontrollable. My computer was fixed within 24 hours. I can't believe it. One minute Apple is a thorn in my side, the next it's my hero. Thank you Apple.

Hmmm.... Am I really trying? I am I am I truly am. It's just when I get cold and I'm watching a film it's just so yummy to have a bit of chocolate and a cup of coffee. It kind of like gives you a nice warm fuzzy feeling inside and it soooo relaxes me 

Anyway, I've failed a few days this week and all I can say is "I'm not sure I want to stand on the scales this week." 

I'm feeling weak and confused and I need support    Someone out there has got to relate?

Not bad considering I cant stop eating chocolate.  

Went to the gym again today and yes I still ache I have been assured it will get better and that I will get more energy. Cant say that's working but it's early days yet.

Still didnt manage to stay under 50. I wonder what Wednesday's weigh-in is going to do to me. 

On the positive side, I went to the gym today and did resistance training AND went on the treadmill  

I can tell I haven't been to the gym for a while......I ache

So close to 50. I don't mind being over by a few as long it's only once  

Now it is back to a calmer lifestyle. When it's crazy busy and chaotic we tend to eat out and that is a killer when it comes to carbs. Next week I think will be a lot easier to control where I eat.

Well...what can I say....apparently, I've been so busy I totally forgot my Daily Log. Not that anyone reads it but for the last few days it has been hectic.

My son has been revising for his exams next week and also performing with Electric Jazz Orchestra, and straight on to stage hand at the school play. It's been crazy busy with work too and I am only just getting round to doing this.

I honestly can't remember everything. That's the bad part of NOT doing a daily log. I seem to remember a square piece of pizza  one night, ice cream with cream and double chocolate another  and who knows what I had the night before that. So, another darn successful couple of days  kind of.

In between the junk I did have low-carb though, so I was lucid at times

A bit on the high side today but stayed under 50 carbs. Busy cleaning the house AGAIN after workmen left. Why do they leave so much dust!

So, I still haven't been to the gym yet. I suppose I could go but I'm more active in the house at the moment and I must admit, I don't normally spent so much time cleaning.

Tomorrow will be a long walk me thinks. Either round the estate or on the treadmill. Depends if it's raining  Must try and motivate myself. I need my old instructor Lesley McCann.... LESLEY......I NEED YOU!!!

Good day today. Was full from last night's dinner so went without breakfast  Everyone knows breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but I do without breakfast on so many days.....Must...Do...Better

Cant believe I've only had 30 carbs today. Feel like I've eaten a hearty meal for dinner. Think I'll call it 'Hearty Pork & Chicken Sausage Casserole'

Now Autumn is well and truly here I am in desperate need of stodge to keep me warm. Chilis, casseroles, soups....all the stuff that's filling and keeps you feeling nice and cosy inside.
Is it still a full moon? My motor hasn't stopped running all day!

Lunch: Cheese broccoli soup
Dinner: Indian: Lamb Saag ( chunks of lamb in spinach and cream) 1 chapati
Total carbs for today around 46
Went out for Indian tonight. It was delicious and I did NOT have rice. I am estimating the chapati to be around 25 carbs (not naan bread). Snarfed the lot and am now resting my tummy on the sofa.

Talking of sofas, I get a new one on Wednesday. Salvation Army picking up the old one tomorrow so will be without anything in the lounge to sit on for 2 days but hey ho  

I have worked hard on the land again today. I think having my Appendix out has worked a treat. I was feeling extremely tired for quite some time before I had it out and my energy levels have improved dramatically.

Dinner: Lone Star: Special small 3 courser of: Cup of chili, Steak and broccoli and chocolate brownie with cream and 1 scoop of ice cream 

Total carbs for today 59

Ooops. I was doing so well until dinner. The 3 course meal was cheaper than buying a main course with drinks so we all went for that. They were small portions more like kids portions so I didn't go too much over. The meal was delish and I would highly recommend a trip to Lone Star for the special menu (if they have it in your area).

Staying cool, keeping calm and carrying on with low-carb eating. It's the only way to go

Just fancied something different so had a bit of cereal for supper. Mustn't do that all the time but now and again is OK. Over the last 2 weeks I gained 2lb. Tomorrow will be a good weigh-in day I think....
