Sorry I haven't been able to update my Daily Lot for a few days. We went away and I couldn't update it from my mobile device. 
A busy traveling day again. Managed to have my leftover popcorn for the trip back home and I haven't done too bad for carbs today, although maybe they should be a little lower.
My New Year's Resolution is more cardio. Fingers crossed I can keep my word. The first day I can start is Tuesday when everyone is back to work and school. I am quite looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time. Anyone understand that?

DAILY LOG Fri 30th Dec 2011 B'fast:bacon &1 egg on a panini. Lunch: lettuce, chicken & cheese. Dinner: houlihans for dinner. Charcoled chicken breast on bed of salad leaves and cheese with a pitcher of long island tea!!! Totalcarbs for today about 70 !!! www.karenscckitchen.com DAILY LOG Friday 30th Dec 2011 What can I say....it was great day for carbs until dinner. Long island iced tea is usually about 20carbs for 1 large glass but the restaurant had a special offer of a large jug/pitcher for $9 (about a fiver) well...I wasn't going to pull my nose up at that!!! 1 pitcher later I am feeling at one with the world and happy with my lot. I should have more long island iced teas me thinks!!! They make me happy. Before my long awaited realization of happiness to long island ice tea, we visited the rock & roll hall of fame and we didn't realize that we had been there for 5hrs......fabulous place, although Cleveland city centre seems to have cops on every corner AND lots of squad cars AND all WITH bullet proof vests.....OMG......this morning the bank across the street from us was almost robbed at gunpoint while we were visiting the 18th century church across the street!!! I say almost because the boys in blue came to the rescue in the nick of time!! ELLIOTT NESS comes to mind!!! So, I hope I haven't bored you to tears with my day,s activities so much that you didn't notice my carb intake today.....let's make a toast.....ladies and gentlemen.....to a greater tomorrow...WOW....long island ice teas are sooooo goooood!!! B'fast: Bacon. Snack 4 cups of cheddar popcorn. Lunch:Greek salad with feta cheese. Dinner: Hard Rock salad with salad & 2 diet pepsis and 1 glass of red wine. Carbs for today about 40. Wow I am surprised how well I've done today. We are in Cleveland OH and when we are traveling we all enjoy snacking. My snack was cheddar popcorn at only 10 carbs for 2 1/2 cups. Big tourist day tomorrow though! I can't seem to update my website. I will update it when I get back. AND I am proud to say.....I did NOT stand on the scales this morning!!! Scales are playing tricks on me I think. They were being good to me this morning.

Yes, we still have turkey left in the fridge. One more day to go and it will be finished. Does anyone have any ideas on what else to make with turkey?
Not had a good carb day for the last 3 days. Today has been OK, however I feel like munching on some chocolate. Must go to bed!

Yes, I have had 2 cadbury's cream eggs. It was supposed to be only 1 but after dinner it was either apple pie and custard or the egg. Obviously I chose the egg. 

I think the extra egg, even though high in carbs, was less carbs than the apple pie and custard?
Anyway, I guess what I'm saying is I failed for the last 2 days. 

Back on the straight and narrow tomorrow.

Christmas Dinner

Starter: Prawn cocktail
Main course: Turkey, mixed veg, stuffing, 1/2 roasted parsnip and sweet potato, cranberry jelly, bread sauce and gravy
Pudding: Apple pie and vanilla sauce (custard)

Supper: Prawn cocktail

Total carbs about  100 !!!

Merry Christmas. Although we were up early I didn't eat until dinner was ready at 2.30pm.

Christmas dinner started really well. The Starter was virtually no carbs but the roasted parsnip, sweet potato, bread sauce, cranberry sauce for the main course followed by apple pie and custard racked up the carbs......Well....it is Christmas Day 
For my weigh-in this week I have stayed the same 
I will have to be careful this week. All the leftovers are in the fridge. If it was just turkey It wouldn't be all that bad but there's also my leftover bread sauce, stuffing, cranberry sauce and roasted parsnips and it is all high in carbs. 
Carbs for this week has worked out at 389, which is averaging 56 carbs per day. I'm surprised I didn't put weight on but I expect the scales tomorrow will show that.
I went to the toning tables 3 times this but still no cardio. That's my New Years Resolution.

It was the breaded butterfly shrimp and the 3 mini egg rolls that did it. the egg rolls alone were 20 carbs but hey....it's Christmas Eve !!!
And, I will still weigh myself tomorrow morning

Busy doing last minute shopping. The roads are filled with crazy drivers! Everyone is in a rush, speeding like mad and cutting each other up! I was glad to get home.

Although I was hungry today I managed to only eat at the correct times.....apart from breakfast that is, but you already know about my dilemma with breakfast

I will weigh myself Christmas morning....don't know why because I know what the outcome will be.

Just a reminder that there are now only 2 days to Christmas

Can't seem to get into a routine of having breakfast 

Don't actually feel like eating when I have just brushed my teeth. As you can see, I didn't have any lunch either. The earliest I ate today was around 2.30pm and I was starving! Far too late in the day to start eating. I will keep on trying for breakfast 
Do you think I'm on track for losing 1 more pound within the next 2 days???Hmmmmm....Not sure about that one.
I'm still typing up my recipes for my new cook book. Keep your eyes open and say 'YES" to the book. It will be out in the New Year.

Been late with my daily log for the past couple of days. Out for a Christmas meal. Ordered 8oz ribeye but only had half and boxed the rest and it is now waiting in the fridge for tomorrow?

Also went to the cinema to watch the Dragon Tattoo. Very good. I think I've been relatively good today, although now I am back home feeling a little peckish and I am thinking about tonight's leftovers!

I'd just like one more pound off for Christmas. Do you think I'll do it in 3 days?

Not sure if I went overboard at lunch. We went out for lunch so the wrap wasn't low-carb but I only had half.

I think I am overestimating the 1/2 wrap as being about 20 carb. Other than that no problems as yet, although everyone off work and school so late nights and chocolates in the air. Don't think we'll be going away for Christmas

I am stunned! I don't know what happened! One minute I am full from lunch, the next I am eating chocolate maltesers like the world is going to end tomorrow

Today I was busy working in the morning and then on to do last minute shopping in the afternoon. Pleased that I got round to having a little breakfast and it put me in the mood for a full english, but alas, no English baked beans in USA.
What a crazy phsyco week!!! Feeling in control one minute and a complete and utter psycho the next!? What is that all about?
For my weigh-in this week I have lost 1lb 
Sooo chuffed! I am not normally a chocolate person but for the last couple of days it's been almost impossible to stop myself raging in on the chocolate in the freezer. I managed to keep it under control....well...only just 
Carbs for this week has worked out at 271, which is about 39 carbs per day. I went to the toning tables 3 times this weekend and still have to pull my sicks up and do some cardio.

It's been very strange this week. Once day I hate the world and want to throw the scales out of the window, and the next I am quite happy and confident that I will lose weight by Sunday. 
Don't know what's going on really. I am convinced now that I am going Carb Crazy 

I wonder what a normal, average-weight person would think reading this?

So good today. I was hungry when we went out for dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. Maybe it was the diet pepsi that filled me up before dinner. Anyway, I had half the meal and boxed it. It is now sitting in the fridge just in case I get peckish later - soooo in control 

I think Sunday will be a happy weight-in day ... maybe I am being too confident! 

Just a reminder that there are now only 8 days to Christmas Eve
